GLUTEN FREE SPONGE CAKE

This month David Ovens suggests a gluten free recipe to make a soft and delicious sponge cake. Just a few ingredients to mix and you can easily prepare an ideal base for gluten-free cakes, to fill as you prefer. Bake the sponge cake in one of our David World single chamber ovens for gluten free products , will guarantee a homogeneous and uniform baking sweets gluten free.

GLUTEN FREE SPONGE CAKE RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • - 180 grams of sugar
  • - 6 eggs (preferably room temperature)
  • - 75 grams of potato starch
  • - 75 grams of gluten free flour
  • - A pinch of salt

Preparation

Take the eggs at room temperature, put them in a mixer, add sugar and a pinch of salt.

Mix the ingredients for a few minutes, till the cream is frothy and well blended. A tip: if you want to spice up the dough you can add some seeds of the vanilla bean. At this point, mix together the gluten free flour and potato starch. Sift flour and add to the cream obtained before.
Use a wooden spoon to mix the ingredients and stir the mixture gently.
Pour the dough into the pan, previously buttered and floured with potato starch. Bake the gluten free sponge cake for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees in the David World single chamber oven for gluten free products
